  1. I am sewing pot holders and aprons for Christmas presents. It's fun combining diff. materials to make the pot holders...I guess that would be like making the fabric bowls. I have never made any bowls but they look fun! Happy Thanksgiving!

    I am making a top for my grandaughter from Octobre autum 2009 , a kwik t-shirt brown/tan combination for two of my grandsons which I plan to embroidery with one of dakota collections toddler trio designs (with racing car/flag). hope to have enough time to do one more item for my 12 mo old grandson Perhaps a pair of brown or blue corduroy overalls.

  4. Making hats and mittens for my new grand daughter from Sew Baby patterns, just finished the cover for the car seat with a skunk embroidered on it called LiL Stinker. Love Sew Baby patterns, so easy to use.

  5. I am making all of my Christmas this year. So far 2 dance bags for neices and a quiet book for a nephew. This bowls would be great for the adults to store things in.

So, 2019 was a bummer of a year for me.  I developed a heart condition called atrial fibrillation (or Afib for short) and spent the last half of the year in and out of the ER and doctor's offices trying to control it.  If you've never heard of it, it's when your heart rate suddenly goes 100 miles an hour.  It's very unpredictable, scary, uncomfortable and exhausting.  So, needless to say, I didn't get a ton of sewing done the last half of the year.   Rubes® cartoon used with permission © Leigh Rubin www.RubesCartoons.com In August, I was put on a medication that had scary side effects, didn't work, and led to horrendous insomnia.  I felt like a walking zombie.   But after 3 months of that, in November, I had a procedure called a cardiac ablation which froze the heart cells that were causing the problem.  Thank God for modern technology- this procedure has only been available in the last 20 years. I'm 3 months post procedur...
