Women's Fall 2013 Ottobre Magazine

One of my favorite magazines is the Ottobre Women's Pattern magazine.  If you've not heard of it, it is a magazine that is produced in Finland twice a year, and includes about 20 different patterns in a wide range of women's sizes.   The patterns are really versatile, and can adapt from a Mom on the Go type wardrobe or a Working Woman wardrobe quite easily.
Here are some highlights of this issue:
These are the line drawings of all of the patterns in the issue.  I want one of each!  But I probably won't have time for that.  This v-neck t-shirt with side ruching will probably be my first pick.  We have some very nice cotton/lycra solid knits that would be perfect for this:

I also love making coats.  So this hooded Anorak jacket would be great for fall.  I've got some coated linen that I've been looking for a good raincoat pattern to make, and I like this one for all of the pockets and hood.
For a comfortable work dress, I like this simple wrap dress:
I can see it out of this fabric at SewBaby:
And for a little colder weather, this coat in a signature color would be fantastic.  I'm thinking a raspberry purple wool for me:
This dress is really cute too.  I might just make it color blocked instead of mixing prints though.
One thing that I would recommend is Swedish Tracing Paper to trace the patterns with.  It is highly durable, and easy to see through for tracing.

What do you think?  Which patterns strike you as a must-make for fall?  We should be getting our shipment next week, so I've made it available for ordering today.  Just go to this page and we'll reserve your copy and ship it as soon as possible!

Happy sewing!
